Keystroke Point of Sale Help

Sales Manager - Coupons - Entering a Coupon on a Transaction

After Keystroke's bar-code coupon features are configured correctly, UPC bar-coded coupons may be scanned on sales transactions. Enter the Inventory items first and then scan or enter the coupon's UPC code into the Product Code, Class, Manufacturer or Description field.

Some coupons require the Clerk to enter the value (the initial coupon amount is $0.00) in the coupon item's Price field.

If the Confirm $0.00 Cost Line Item Entry Parameter is enabled, Keystroke prompts the Clerk to confirm the Cost of the Coupon Item (which should be set to $0.00 in the Inventory database).

Note: Keystroke stores the coupon code (a UPC code that starts with the #5) in the Product Code field of the coupon's Line Item.
