The KeyPay Service software must be installed on a computer with an available internet connection. It may be a stand-alone POS workstation, a network file server, or a network workstation. The KeyPay Service is a payment processing "server" available to all workstations on a network. Therefore it should be installed on a single computer only, and not on each workstation.
The setup program installs the KeyPay software, establishes default settings, and adds the KeyPay Service program to Windows Services so it automatically launches when the computer is turned on.
After installing KeyPay, it is necessary to set up at least one Authorization Method in Keystroke and attach an Authorization Method(s) to each appropriate Sales Payment Type.
