Sales Manager - Parameters - Sales Entry - Customer Entry - Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen

The Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen Customer Entry Parameter (available only if the Enter Customer First Customer Entry Parameter is enabled) displays the Simplified Customer Entry screen which includes fewer entry fields than the Standard Customer Entry screen.

If Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen is enabled each sales transaction begins with the Simplified Customer Entry screen. Select the Standard Entry Mode button on the Enter Customer screen to display the Standard Customer Entry screen. To continue the transaction with the Default Customer, select OK or Cancel, or press [F10] or [Esc].

If Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen is disabled (and Enter Customer First is enabled) each sales transaction begins with the Standard Customer Entry screen and uses the Default Customer.

If both Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen and Enter Customer First are disabled, press [Ctrl]+[F8] to display the Simplified Customer Entry screen.

To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Sales Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Entry.
- Select the Customer Entry button on the Entry Parameters screen.
- Select Use Simplified Customer Entry Screen on the Customer Entry Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.

Note: Use Simplified Customer Entry is available only if the Enter Customer First Customer Entry Parameter is enabled.
