The Max Price Field Line Item Entry Parameter (available only with Keystroke Advanced licenses) defines which Price field on the Inventory database record is to be used for the Max Price of the item. The Max Price is the maximum price that can be entered when manually overriding the price of the item on the sales transaction screen by editing the dollar amount in the Price column.
Note: If the edited price is higher than the amount of the Global Max Price Keystroke displays the Invalid Number message. If the Clerk has the Override Maximum Price security level, the item's maximum price may be overridden.
Note: The Global Max Price Line Item Entry Parameter defines the Maximum Price that can be entered when manually overriding the price of any item on the sales transaction screen by editing the dollar amount in the Price column.
