An alternative to selecting a color from the predefined Color Lists is to use the Color Picker which allows just about any color to be specified and selected. The color picker uses the actual Red, Green and Blue (RGB) values used by the computer to specify a color. These values may be entered manually or selected from color boxes showing a wide number of variations for these values. The Color Picker also supports the alternate color value method of Hue, Saturation and Luminance (HSL) where it may be easier to find a compatible color.

The color selection boxes display the range of all available colors by default. This display may be changed by using the zoom keys ([Ctrl]+[+] / [Ctrl]+[-]) on the numeric keypad) or by clicking the Zoom control buttons next to the current Zoom setting.
