The Prompt For Clerk Entry Parameter enables each sales transaction to begin with the Clerk Login prompt. The Clerk must enter a Clerk Number and Password before proceeding with
every sales transaction.
If Prompt For Clerk is enabled Clerk Login is required for each sales transaction.
If Prompt For Clerk is disabled Clerk Login is not required for each sales transaction.
To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Sales Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Entry.
- Select Prompt For Clerk on the Entry Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
