Sales Manager - Parameters - Sales Entry - Don't Check Expiration Date

The Don't Check Expiration Date Entry Parameter (available only when the Check Minimum Age Entry Parameter is enabled) disables the checking of the Expiration Date (and the the display of the license expiration warning message) from the scan of a driver's license 2D barcode in the Birthdate field on the Confirm Age screen when selling items with a Minimum Age requirement. The license expiration warning message displays the Expiration Date (but only if it is expired), Birthdate, Gender, Height, and Eye color from the scan. After the warning message is displayed the Clerk must select Ok to proceed ([Esc] rejects the scan).

If Don't Check Expiration Date is enabled driver's license expiration dates are not checked.

If Don't Check Expiration Date is disabled driver's licenses expiration dates are checked.

To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Sales Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Entry.
- Select Don't Check Expiration Date on the Entry Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
