The Display Additional Age Requirement Message Entry Parameter displays the "This product has a minimum age requirement! Press the Escape Key [Esc] to continue." confirmation message before the Confirm Customer Age screen is displayed. The Clerk must confirm they have recognized the message before proceeding with the sales transaction.
If Display Additional Age Requirement Message is enabled the confirmation message is displayed.
If Display Additional Age Requirement Message is disabled the confirmation message is not displayed.
To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Sales Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Entry.
- Select Display Additional Age Requirement Message on the Entry Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
