The Confirm $0.00 Cost Line Item Entry Parameter prompts the Clerk to enter a Cost for items that have a $0.00 Cost being entered on the sales transaction screen before continuing with the sales transaction.
When Confirm $0.00 Cost is enabled and an item with $0.00 Cost is entered, Keystroke displays the Item Cost screen identifying the item and prompting the Clerk to enter a Cost figure. Confirmation is accomplished by entering a Cost figure and selecting the [Ok] button or pressing [Enter]
or by selecting the [Cancel] button or [Esc] key.
To enable this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Sales Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Line Items.
- Select Confirm $0.00 Cost on the Line Item Entry Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
