Purchase Manager - Parameters - Update - Calculate New Price

The Calculate New Price Update Parameter is used to calculate the new Base Price of items entered on Purchase Transactions.

When both Update Base Price to New Price and Calculate New Price Update are enabled, Keystroke calculates the new Base Price of items entered on Purchase Transactions.

Enable the New Price + Screen Mode display parameters to view Purchase Order screen formats that display and allow the new prices to be edited. Use [Shift]+[F9] to toggle between available screen formats. When the Purchase Transaction is saved, the new Base Price for the items is updated in the Inventory database.

Note: If Calculate New Price is disabled, New Price is left blank (Null) and Base Price is not updated. New Price may still be set manually by navigating to the New Price column and entering the New Price.

To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Purchase Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Update.
- Select Calculate New Price on the Update Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
