The Shipping Tax Code Entry Parameter Defines the default Tax Code for taxable shipping.
If Shipping Tax Code is enabled a Shipping Tax is calculated and applied to the Shipping amount on the Complete Purchase Transaction screen.
If Shipping Tax Code is disabled Shipping Tax is not applied.
To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Purchase Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Entry.
- Select Shipping Tax Code on the Entry Parameters screen.
- Enter the desired Tax Code or press [Ins] to select the Tax Code from the list of available Tax Codes..
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
