Database Manager - Menus - Special Menu - Edit Time Clock

The Edit Time Clock function is used to edit Time Clock Entries for Clerks.

To Edit Time Clock Entries:

- Select Edit Time Clock from the Special menu to display the Time Clock Entries Lookup List showing the Date, Time, Clerk Number, Clerk Name, and I/O (a 1 defines a Clocked In Entry and a 0 defines a Clocked Out Entry) for each entry.
- To edit an entry, select it and press [Enter] to display the Edit Time Clock Entry screen.
- To create a new entry, press [Ins].
- To delete an entry, select it and press [Del].

The Edit Time Clock Entry screen displays the following fields:

Clerk - The Clerk Number and Clerk's name. A new Clerk Number may be entered, or [Ins] may be pressed to select a Clerk from the Clerk Lookup List.

Date - The date on which the Clerk Clocked In or Out. To change the date, enter a new one in any standard Keystroke date format.

Time - The time at which the Clerk Clocked In or Out. To change the time, enter a new one in any standard Keystroke time format.

Clocks In/Out - Defines the Time Clock Entry as Clocked In (I) or Clocked Out (O). To change the Clocked In/Out status, use the [SpaceBar] or the [I] and [O] keys.

Note: When adding, editing, or deleting Time Clock entries, each In Entry for a Clerk should be paired with a later Out Entry unless the Clerk is still currently on shift. A Clerk should not be Clocked In or Out twice in a row.
