The Commission Code is used to categorize Inventory items for use with Commission Tables Formulas used to calculate Salesperson commissions on reports.
If Commission Tables are in use, the Commission Code represents the Commission Formula(s) which for which the item qualifies to determine the Salesperson commission to be paid on the sale of the item. To define the item's the Commission Code, press [Ins] and select the appropriate Code from the Lookup List.
Even if Commission Tables are not currently being utilized, the Default setting, an asterisk (*), should be selected in the Commission Code field.
