Variance - Menus - Special - Matrix/Inventory QOH Check

The Matrix/Inventory QOH Check function is used to create a Variance based on the difference between an Inventory item's QOH and the total Quantity On Hand for all its Matrix items through the use of the Search function.

Note: This function applies only to Inventory items with Matrix tables.

To use Matrix/Inventory QOH Check, select it from the Special Menu to display the Search screen. Enter the Search criteria in the appropriate fields. Search Operators may be used with the search criteria. Search criteria may be entered in as many fields as necessary. Press [F9] to toggle between all the Inventory database screens. To select all Inventory items with Matrix tables, leave all of the fields blank.

Press [F10] to begin the Search to locate records which match the Search criteria. When the Matrix/Inventory QOH Check search has completed, a screen is displayed showing the number of items located. Press [Enter] or select the [Ok] button to automatically add the items to the current Variance screen. The QOH column contain each Inventory item's QOH. The Phys Qty column contains the total QOH for all of the item's Matrix items. The Var column displays the difference between the QOH and Phys Qty columns.

Press [F10] and then select Post to set each item's QOH equal to the total QOH for its Matrix items.
