Sales Manager - Line Item Costs - Adjusting

Keystroke initially obtains an item's Cost from its Inventory database record Average Cost field. An item's Average Cost is saved with the invoice and is used to calculate profits on reports.

To change a line item's cost, press [F3] in any Column (except the Price Column) to display the Line Item Detail screen. Navigate to the Cost field and enter the cost. Select the [Ok] button or press [F10] to save.

Note: Changing the line item cost has no effect on the item's cost in the Inventory database.
