The Last Cost = Dist. Cost Update Parameter applies the Distributed Discount / Distributed Shipping costs to the item's Last Cost when the item is received.
When enabled, Keystroke applies the distributed discount and/or the distributed shipping costs to the item's Last Cost.
When disabled, Keystroke does not apply the distributed discount and/or the distributed shipping costs to the item's Last Cost.
Note: Other Update Parameter settings may affect or be affected by this parameter:
- If Update Last Cost is disabled, the Last Cost = Dist. Cost parameter has no effect.
- If Reset Avg. Cost is enabled and Update Avg. Cost is disabled, it affects the Average Cost.
- If Update Avg. Cost is enabled, it affects the Average Cost when an item's Quantity on Hand is negative.
To set this parameter:
- Select Parameters from the Purchase Manager Transaction Menu.
- Select Update.
- Select Last Cost = Dist. Cost on the Update Parameters screen.
- Use the mouse or the [Space Bar] to turn the parameter ON or OFF.
- Select [OK] or press [F10] to save.
