[Ins] or [F2] - Lookup List

Video Screenshot

Displays a Lookup List, when and where it is appropriate to do so.

The contents of the Lookup List depend on the context.

For example:

When [Ins] or [F2] is pressed in the Description column of a Sales Transaction, the Lookup List will display a list of Inventory items.

When [Ins] or [F2] is pressed in a Customer lookup field on the Enter Customer for Sales Transaction screen, the Lookup List will display a list of Customers.

When [Ins] or [F2] is pressed in a Vendor lookup field on the Enter Vendor for Purchase Transaction screen, the Lookup List will display a list of Vendors.

Note: While in the Lookup List for Inventory, Customers, or Vendors, the Alt Codes button is displayed (available only with Keystroke Advanced licenses). If clicked (or if [Alt]+[A] is pressed) the list of Alternate Codes for that database is displayed. Selecting an item from that list works the same as selecting an item from the main Lookup List. The Alternate Code list may also be edited from here as well (if the Clerk has the security to do so).

When [Ins] or [F2] is pressed in the Price field of a Sales Transaction, the Lookup List will display the item's Price at each Price Level.

When [Ins] or [F2] is pressed in the Quantity field of a Sales Transaction, Keystroke displays the Dimension Calculator instead of the Lookup List because there is nothing to list.
