The Settings Menu on the Edit Valid Entries List screen contains the File Type option to select the type of file format in which to save the Valid Entries List file. The selected option displays a check mark to the right of its title.
Binary File Type:
- Some of the information is in code that Keystroke can understand.
- Cannot be edited using a simple text editor (such as Windows Notepad).
- The Valid Entries List Editor is required to edit a list saved in Binary format.
XML File Type:
- All if the information is saved in a special text format.
- May edited using a simple text editor (such as Windows Notepad)
- May be edited with the Valid Entries List Editor.
