Database Manager - Customer Database - Main Screen - Customer Code

The Customer Code field is most commonly used as a unique identifier for each Customer.

Examples of common types of identifiers are:

- Account numbers.

- Initials.

- Name abbreviations (such as first 3 characters of Last Name followed by first 3 characters of First Name).

It may also be used to classify Customers by group or type such as:

- Retailers

- Wholesalers

- Dog owners

- Cat owners

- Wine club

- Baseball players

- Soccer players

Format: 20 alphanumeric characters. Lower-case characters are automatically converted to upper-case.
