Configuration Manager - Menus - Settings - Sales Transaction Types - Parameters - Save - Use Current Date For Sales Tax

The Use Current Date For Sales Tax Save Parameter is used to ensure the current date is being used to calculate Sales Tax when transactions are edited.

When enabled, the Sales Tax for each item on the transaction is calculated using the current date everytime the transaction is edited.

When disabled, the Sales Tax for each item on the transaction is calculated using the original transaction date everytime the transaction is edited.

Note: This parameter should always be disabled for Sales Invoices and should be enabled for all other Sales Transaction Types.

- Select Save Parameters on the Transaction Type setup screen.
- On the Save Parameters screen, select Use Current Date For Sales Tax.
- Use the SpaceBar or the left mouse button to enable the setting.
- When enabled, it is marked with an X.
