Configuration Manager - Menus - Settings - Sales Transaction Types - Parameters - Save - Reload Avg Cost When Editing

The Reload Avg Cost When Editing Save Parameter is used to ensure current cost information is being used when transactions are edited.

When enabled, the cost information for each item on the transaction is retrieved from the Inventory database everytime the transaction is edited.

When disabled, the cost information already entered on the transaction is used when the transaction is edited.

To enable the Reload Avg Cost When Editing Parameter for a Transaction Type:

- Select Transaction Type from the Configuration Manager Settings menu.
- Select the Transaction Type from the list.
- Select Save Parameters on the Transaction Type setup screen.
- On the Save Parameters screen, select Reload Avg Cost When Editing.
- Use the SpaceBar or the left mouse button to enable the setting.
- When enabled, it is marked with an X.

X = ON
blank = OFF
Switch ON and OFF using SpaceBar
