When Enabled: dates display months in text format consisting of a three-letter name with an apostrophe before the two-digit year (XxxDD'YY) instead of MM/DD/YY.
For example:
January 31, 2018 is displayed as Jan31'18 or, if the Day/Month Date Format (Non US) parameter is also enabled, is displayed as 31Jan'18.
When Disabled: dates are displayed in MM/DD/YY-style format.
For example:
January 31, 2018 is displayed as 01/31/18 or if the Day/Month Date Format (Non US) parameter is also enabled, is displayed as 31/01/18.
To enable Day/Month Date Format:
- Select Parameters from the Configuration Manager Settings menu.
- Select Text Date Format with the mouse or press [Spacebar] to mark it with an X.
Note: Text Date Format does not affect date input. Dates may still be entered using standard Keystroke date entry guidelines.
