The Restore from Quick Archives function restores files from backups created using the Quick Archive function.

When the Restore from Quick Archives function is run, the Restore from Archives screen is displayed showing the available Archives from which to restore.

Date - the date of the Quick Archive.

Version - the Version of the Quick Archive.

Filename - the filename(s) of the ZIP file(s) in the ARCHIVES folder.

Select the desired Archive to restore, press [Enter] to proceed, and the following message is displayed: "You have requested to Restore - [location of archive backup file] to [location of the current data files (usually C:\Keystroke\Data\)]. The program will exit after the restore is completed. [OK] [Cancel]". Select [Cancel] to exit the Restore From Quick Archives function without restoring files. Select [Ok] to continue with the restore function.

If [Ok] is selected in the previous step, the following message is displayed: "A new archive should be made before restoring any data. Create archive of current data now? [Yes] [No] [Cancel]". Select [Yes] to proceed with the restore function, create the new Archive, and then restore files. Select [No] to return to the Restore Data message. Select [Cancel] to exit the restore function.

If [Ok] is selected in the previous step, the following warning message is displayed: "WARNING: Exclusive Process! All other machines must be out of and stay out of Keystroke while this function is running! Proceed with Quick Archive function. [Ok] [Cancel]". Select [Cancel] to exit the Quick Archive function. Select [Ok] to proceed.

If [Ok] is selected in the previous step, the quick archive is created, the Restore From Archives function then restores the files from the selected Archive, and the Keystroke program closes as described in the first message above.
