The Don't Update Drawer Closeout Parameter determines if the Starting Drawer amount is maintained.
When Enabled - The Starting Drawer amount is maintained for future Closeouts (by automatically setting the Deposit amount to the Count amount less the Starting Drawer amount).
When Disabled - The Starting Drawer amount is not maintained for future Closeouts.
