Troubleshooting - User Error

Everybody makes mistakes, and most data entry errors are easily recognized.

Most common data entry errors are one-time problems:
- Typing the wrong number or letter.
- Selecting the wrong item.

If a Clerk frequently makes the same mistake, it may look like a data corruption problem. In a sense it is too, since the Clerk is in fact corrupting the data.

Most such repeated data entry errors are easily recognized because the data will be in the (more-or-less) right format, even if it is inaccurate. All Clerks using the Keystroke software should receive adequate training enabling them to enter error-free data.

Genuinely corrupted data won't just be wrong - it will be scrambled to the point that it cannot be recognized.
