MonitorFiles Startup Switch

The MonitorFiles startup switch monitors the amount of the time it takes to close a file. When this startup switch is enabled, Keystroke tracks how long it takes to close each file. If it takes more than 1/100 of a second, Keystroke is set to sleep for several milliseconds before closing the file. Adding this sleep/delay normally reduces the time it takes to close the file from approximately 1 second to 0.07 seconds (depending on the computer system). The sleep time is automatically calculated and is normally set to between 8 and 40 milliseconds.

Usage:
MonitorFiles accepts the following values:
0 - Disable file monitoring.
1 - Enable file monitoring.
Example: Keystroke.exe MonitorFiles=1

Default:
0

See: INIFILE setting MonitorFiles=
