Percent Paid is a calculated field available in the header section of some Transaction Reports. It is displayed as a decimal showing the amount of the transaction that has been paid.
For example, if $500.00 is paid on a transaction of $1382.00, 36.2% has been paid, and the Percent Paid field displays .362.
Percent Paid and the Method Button
If the Method button is not available on a Report or if Method is set to Accrual, the Percent Paid field is set to 1.
If the Method button is available and Method is set to one of the Cash types, the percentage that has been paid is calculated and display in the Percent Paid field.
The Percent Paid field can also affect the Method button:
- If the Report can print Transaction Header fields (i.e. the Sales Profit Report), the Method button is available only if the Percent Paid field is included on the currently selected Report form.
- If Percent Paid is not included on the form, the Method button is not available.
- If Percent Paid is not included on the form, on Reports that do not print transaction information, and that do display the Method button (i.e. Inventory Sales Analysis), the Method button is available.
