The Clear Choice in Retail Automation

Keystroke POS is a true 32-bit Windows program, optimized for the Windows 98SE/ME and Windows NT/2000/XP/2003Server/Vista operating systems. The Keystroke POS CD includes unabridged on-line documentation in Adobe Acrobat PDF format with hyperlinks and search capabilities.

The Customizable Toolbars feature macro-style buttons and instant mouse access to frequently used functions.  New buttons can be set-up to perform just about any task in the Keystroke POS program.  Right click on any toolbar to display a list of existing Toolbars, which can be toggled on and off with a single click.  Use the Toolbar Editor to create your own Buttons and Toolbars; or simply drag and drop Tool Commands onto existing Toolbars.

A somewhat subtle but very beneficial feature is how Keystroke POS handles varying screen sizes.  The system automatically adjusts font sizes as the Keystroke POS window is resized, providing larger, more readable text, even on smaller POS workstation monitors.

As with most Windows applications, INI files can be used to define start-up parameters. The INI files support the same command line switches which have always been available, as well as many additional specialized switches.  For example, the switch [LockScreen=1] will lock the workstation into the Keystroke POS program, preventing access to the Windows environment and other programs. That feature, along with Keystroke POS's extensive security controls (including a detailed Audit Trail!) ensures an extremely secure and reliable POS workstation.

Keystroke POS ships on a single CD, accompanied by a License Disk and Product ID to define which add-on modules are licensed. Most other modules are still available in Evaluation mode.

Keystroke POS Features include:

Keystroke POS is a true 32-bit Windows program, optimized for the Windows 98SE/ME and Windows NT/2000/XP/2003Server/Vista operating systems, taking advantage of the latest technology.

Customizable Toolbars::

On-screen macro-style buttons provide easy access to frequently used functions and save time handling repetitive tasks. Create your own custom buttons and toolbars or select from the standard set provided with Keystroke POS.

Automatic Font Size Adjustment:

Font sizes are automatically adjusted as the Keystroke program window is resized, providing larger and more readable text, even on smaller POS workstation monitors.

Added Security:

A new full-screen mode can be used to prevent employees from accessing other programs.

Full Mouse Support:

Without sacrificing keyboard functionality, full mouse support is available throughout the system. Right-click to access Quick Search lookups; Left-click to select items, menu functions and custom toolbar buttons.

Unabridged On-Line Documentation:

Comprehensive documentation is included on the program CD in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. With built-in hyperlinks from the Table Of Contents and Index, the on-line User Guide and Custom Modules & Advanced Features documents provide fast access to details about all program features (required Adobe Acrobat Reader is included).

New and Improved Help Screens:

Keystroke Help Screens have been greatly improved and are now based on the MS Windows Help Engine.

The Matrix Manager:

This module enables Keystroke to track soft goods using matrices.  Each type of matrix can be defined with as many as four categories (dimensions), with up to 50 elements in each.  In other words, each inventory record may actually consist of dozens or even thousands of unique items.

When a matrixed item is entered on a sale or purchase order, Keystroke will prompt the user to select a specific element from each category (e.g., size, color, etc.). A barcodeable Product Code can also be used to identify each item within a matrix without further prompting.  Each item within a matrix can contain its own cost, price, and other information.  This allows, for example, the ability to ask a higher price for XL sizes or unusual colors.
