The Keystroke POS User Guide documentation files are provided on the Keystroke installation CD in Adobe PDF format and are all fully printable. The PDF format is a widely used option for delivering electronic documents and offers benefits such as the ability to search for key words or phrases, the ability to print multiple copies of pertinent sections as needed, and the ability to access documentation conveniently. A practical guide for new users is currently in development.
The Keystroke POS base system software includes: point of sale functions, purchasing, inventory control, customer tracking, accounts receivable, barcode label printing, extensive reporting capabilities, support for most POS-related hardware and sample data files.
A variety of Custom Modules and integration/utility programs are also available to add unique capabilities and to custom-fit the system to the needs of nearly any business.
Context sensitive help screens and 90 days toll-free Software Maintenance Service (with technical support) are included with all base systems.
The FREE Evaluation system is available for anyone wishing to review, test or demonstrate the capabilities of the Keystroke POS system before buying.
All features of the base system are fully operational; however, it is limited in the number of transactions it can save, and the Custom Modules are limited in various ways. The included sample data files may be used or unique user-generated data may be entered (Inventory, Customers, Vendors, etc.). About 100 transactions (sales, purchase orders, etc.) can be saved.
When it is determined that Keystroke POS is the right system for the business, any data already entered in the Evaluation system can be retained upon the purchase of a licensed base system. With the assistance of a local Registered Keystroke POS Dealer, the licensed system can be installed in just a few minutes (excluding networking, peripheral hardware, and advanced configuration options) right over the Evaluation system.
